| A Northern Michigan Restaurant was painted throughout with a faux finish that gives the appearance of old stucco walls and exposed bricks with ivy climbing randomly throughout. This finish in itself toned down the atmosphere to make it more comfortable. Then several well know landmarks of Italy were added to the walls as murals. These include the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Rialto Bridge and the ancient ruin of the Temple of Neptune found on the Island of Sicily. Old world style painted corner supports enhance the overall appearance of the restaurant. Finally a large mural appearing as an old poster attached to the wall with corners coming undone, was added as the focal point. This mural shows a scene of the lighthouse in Boyne City, indicating where this restaurant is located. |
