This tree sculpture consists of 2-d as well as 3-d elements. The main branch is a 3-dimensional sculpture built directly onto the wall. Some smaller branches as well as the leaves are painted in order to achieve a mixed effect. The background walls are painted in a ragged faux finish to add warmth and visual texture to the atmosphere throughout. Among the branches and the leaves, shadow boxes that contain preserved insects and spiders were added by the customer. This hallway is intended for children to touch and explore.
