Martina
Hahn
Born and raised in the heart of Europe, Martina has been exposed to Art, Culture and Music from the start. She came to the United States at the age of 19, lived in San Francisco, Boston and Augusta, GA , then settled in Northern Michigan in 1993 to raise a family. She has just I recent years begun to venture back into her travels, which she combines with work.
Martina delivers a taste of Northern Michigan talent and a unique twist on art. Her talents were discovered at the tender age of three and nurtured throughout her life. As her career as a professional artist is now in its second decade, Martina has established herself as a highly desired and sought-after artistic performer and motivational speaker throughout the State of Michigan, the United States and Europe, painting at Corporate Events, Non-Profit Fundraisers, Private Events and Motivational School Assemblies for all age groups, to mention a few.
Although internationally recognized as a Speed Painter and Motivational Speaker, Martina has a knack for Trompe L’oeil Mural Painting and portraiture. Her work allows discovery and hands-on education through all five senses. Combining her talents, she is often found teaching in non-conventional settings, spreading the word of the Power of Art through Speaking Engagements at Art Conventions, Hospitals, Schools and Libraries.
Her community involvement includes founding a cooperative for artists in 2008, the Boyne Arts Collective in Boyne City, Michigan and acting as its President while establishing non-profit status for the organization. She can also be found painting for terminally ill children at summer camps throughout Michigan – able to relate to the kids being a cancer survivor herself.
Martina recently joined forces with well-known Northern Michigan singer/songwriter Michelle Chenard and created “Music meets Canvas’. Both can often be found painting and singing live during concerts at popular resorts and up-scale venues.
Martina lives in the Walloon Lake area in Michigan with her three children, enjoying the inspirational beauty of Northern Michigan’s outdoors, skiing, biking, hiking, swimming and kayaking.
